RPGs give me a wonderfully free creative outlet where I can spin stories and spend time with good friends. When I started listening to a few RPG podcasts, I realized how difficult it was to find more related podcasts. That was back in 2015. Eventually, after being sick of begging the community on Reddit and Twitter for suggestions, I wondered why there wasn’t just a directory for RPG podcasts. And that’s how RPG Casts was born! RPG Casts launched in early 2016. I don’t play RPGs nearly as much as I want to, but RPG podcasts make that fact sting a little bit less.

To acknowledge traditional territories of Indigenous peoples is to recognize the long history of Canada and its First Peoples. This acknowledgement recognizes the colonization and establishment of European colonies, as well as its significance for the Indigenous peoples who lived and continue to live upon their territory.
RPG Casts respectfully acknowledges that it is created on Treaty 6 territory, traditional lands, meeting grounds, and home of Indigenous peoples including the Cree, Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Iroquois, Dene, Ojibway/ Saulteaux/Anishinaabe, Inuit, and many others.
RPG Casts respects the histories, languages, and cultures of all First Peoples of Canada. Their practices, spiritualities, and relationships were tied to this traditional land and continue to be. We pay respects to their elders, past and present, and all Indigenous peoples.
This is only a small part of cultivating strong relationships with the First Peoples of Canada. RPG Casts is committed to forge real understanding of the larger context and challenging the legacies of colonialism, including the ongoing colonization and erasure.
RPG Casts stands with the Wet’suwet’en people and the current ongoing crisis and stand witness as the Government of Canada openly violates laws against Wet’suwet’en and Indigenous peoples of Canada. You can read more about Wet’suwet’en and how to show your support here.
