ADDING YOUR PODCAST TO THE SITE
I’m very excited that you have a podcast that isn’t on this site yet! It means there are new RPG podcasts that I’m not aware of and that I can be excited about listening to.
If you want your show page to include a specific episode to highlight and stream directly from the site, your podcast needs to be added to Radio Public. Here’s how to submit your podcast to Radio Public.
POLICY ON SUBMISSIONS
RPG Casts remain committed to making and maintaining an inclusive, welcoming space for all people. To that end, racism, sexism, transphobia, homophobia, ableism, and other related material is unwelcome.
RPG Casts reserves the right to refuse to post any submission that includes language or reported content of the above.
UNSURE HOW TO CATEGORIZE YOUR PODCAST?
Actual Play One Shots
We define Actual Play One Shot podcasts as ones that explore several different tabletop systems in one adventure that can span a handful of episodes, but typically doesn’t last very long. The story ends, and the podcast moves on to the next system.
Note: If you are submitting an AP One Shot show, you will automatically be given a tag called “Multiple/Various Systems”.
Actual Play Campaigns
We define Actual Play Campaign podcasts as ones that have a continuing storyline set of adventures, typically involving the same characters. The campaign tends to explore more than the basic hack and slash, but that of character development, improvement, and growth. A single episode tends to be a scene or act within the overall story arc. By definition, a campaign spans more than one session of play.
Discussion
We list Discussion podcasts as ones that discuss mechanics of tabletop RPG systems, explore how to story-tell, interviews, and more. Discussion podcasts are about all of the behind-the-scenes or simply about the love of tabletop RPGs.
Can I be more than one of the above three?
Yes. You can be an AP Campaign and Discussion, or an AP One Shots and Discussion, but you cannot be both an AP Campaign and an AP One Shots.
